Agents do the groundwork.
Every finding has a basis.

Baselex works through relevant regulations and requirements, then checks evidence in Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDFs and reports within your configured workflow. It brings requirement-linked findings, exceptions and required approvals to your team.

From a scoped request to ongoing verification.

Follow one decision through six stages, from defining the question to rechecking relevant changes. This illustration explains the process, not an operational assessment.

One connected paper system: a scoped request, agent-led requirements and evidence work, a permission check, a record and monitoring for relevant changes.
Request: Your team defines the decision, scope and permitted access, including the activity, site and market.

Know what can proceed.
See what needs attention.

Baselex checks a proposed action within your configured workflow. The outcome determines the next step; your team’s permissions still govern what can proceed.

Proceed
The agreed checks are satisfied. Routine actions may proceed within delegated authority; actions requiring additional approval remain pending human approval.
Need evidence
Supporting material is missing or insufficient. The finding identifies the evidence needed before the check can be completed.
Block
A requirement is not met. The configured workflow does not permit the requested action to proceed until the issue is resolved and the checks are satisfied.
Escalate
The case needs judgment or additional authority. The findings and their supporting sources go to the appropriate reviewer.

A fluent answer from an LLM is not a verification record.

Recent rules such as the EU AI Act (opens in a new tab) raise the bar for high-risk AI systems through documentation, logging, transparency and human oversight requirements. Even plausible output from a general-purpose model or model-based agent is not, on its own, an auditable decision record. For regulated decisions, auditability is non-negotiable: Baselex keeps the requirement, evidence, finding and accountable reviewer connected.

Monitor the inputs.
Recheck the affected decisions.

Baselex continuously monitors the sources and requirements configured for your workflow. Relevant changes trigger rechecking of affected decisions, with the previous result retained for comparison.

For example, replacing a document prompts a new check of the requirements it supports. It may resolve a gap or reveal another issue; the document’s arrival alone is not a pass.

Define the scope. Delegate the groundwork.

Before a pilot, agree how Baselex fits your existing process:

Your decision

Which activity, site or market needs checking, and which requirements apply?

Your permissions

What can proceed under delegated authority? Who handles exceptions and additional approvals?

Your sources

Which evidence may agents access, and which inputs should be monitored?

See the work your team would review.

Inspect the evidence agents prepare, the checks behind the findings and the permissions that govern the next action. Then discuss a focused pilot.
